We pride ourselves on providing the best foreign language experience for young children. We know that your children will be happy, excited, and will quickly pick up age-appropriate aspects of the language. Most importantly, they will have fun! We are confident in the services we provide and are happy to offer one of the best refund policies of any local childrens’ activities.
For new students, the first Little Learners, Early Learners, or Junior Learners session we offer a 100% money-back guarantee if you cancel before the 4th class. Cancellations after the 4th class will receive a pro-rated refund of the class fee.
If a returning student needs to miss classes, we invite them to take advantage of our make-up policy to ensure you get your money’s worth out of the session. If your language and/or age group does not have other classes available, we will work with you for an amicable solution.
Little Signing classes offer the same refund policy as above, minus the cost of materials which varies by class and session. Private & Semi-Private classes will be refunded on a prorated basis. Due to the high demand and limited spaces available in our After-School programs, we are unable to provide refunds after the 1st class. Cancellations prior to class starting will be refunded minus a 10% cancellation fee.
Each additional child from the same household registered for the same session will receive a 10% sibling discount. We
Join a class with a friend! Refer a friend to Littler Learners, Early Learners, or Junior Learners classes and both registrations receive a $20 credit towards their next class. Canta Y Baila Conmigo or Little Signing referrals each receive a $10 credit. Please e-mail us prior to registering as we are still setting up our system to accept this discount.
In case of inclement weather, Small World Languages will announce any closings or changes to the schedule via our social media pages and on the home page of this website. Because of our flexible Make-Up Policy, if our instructors are able to travel, we make every effort to hold our classes as scheduled, allowing parents to decide whether-or-not travel is appropriate and to schedule make-up classes as needed.
If your child is not feeling well, we ask that you please do not risk getting other children sick by bringing them to class. Our flexible Make-Up Policy enables you to join a class on a different day when your child is feeling better.
If for any reason your child needs to miss a group class, including illness, inclement weather, or just your busy family schedules, simply check our current session schedules and contact us with a your preferred make-up class. We will be happy to schedule a make-up during your preferred date and time as long as there is room in the class. Please note that since Small World Languages uses a curriculum structure that strives to provide a minimum level of vocabulary and practical language skills for your child each session, every effort should be made to schedule a make-up class within a week (before or after) the class that you need to miss.
In the event that your child needs to miss their semi-private lesson for any reason, we are happy to allow you to make-up the lesson by joining one of our group classes. Please make every effort to notify us as soon as possible prior to your class. In the event that both students in the class need to miss the same class and with sufficient prior notice, we will work with both students to reschedule that class.
Because of the custom nature of these classes, we ask that you notify us as at least two hours prior to your class that you will not be able to attend so that we may notify our instructor. We will work with you to schedule ONE make-up class per session. Failure to notify us at least two hours prior to the class will result in a forfeited class.
If your child is unable to attend up to two of their After-School lessons with us, we invite you to join one of the age-appropriate group classes being held at our school.
Food & Drink
We ask that you do not bring food or drink into our classrooms as some children have allergies, and we also want to avoid distractions during class so that your children can get the most out of their time. You may feel free to give snacks and drinks in the waiting area, but please no nuts of any kind.
Prior to each session starting, Small World Languages reserves the right to cancel, combine, or change the class schedules to ensure each class has enough students.
