Maggie has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. She studied abroad for 5 months in Northern Spain in 2016 at the University of León. There she tutored English to children and lived with a host family that didn’t speak any English! Since then, she has translated for four different non-profits and has tutored both ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish to children and teenagers. She has experience working at a daycare, serves in her church’s child and youth ministries, and has been a nanny for over 9 years. Maggie has a patient and caring personality that allows her to connect with children and teach them the language she has fallen in love with! Learning any language can be a challenging process, yet Maggie hopes to guide your children to make the journey to being a Spanish speaker fun and fulfilling!
“Learning a new language isn’t just learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things.”
