Ciao! My name is Robert and I am an Italian teacher. Besides Italian, I speak fluent Albanian and English. In 2008 I graduated from SCSU with a master’s degree in Italian and a TESOL Cross-Endorsement. I have taught Italian in Waterbury School District for the last 12 years. I grew up in Albania, and graduated from Tirana University with a bachelor’s degree in languages. Subsequently I moved to Italy and attended NDC College in Rome for international relations. Finally I moved to the US over 2 decades ago. My family and I have resided in Cheshire for the last 11 years. Both my kids went through Cheshire school system and are now seniors at Cheshire High School.

I love to travel and I have visited over 20 countries around the world so far. I also love sports, specifically soccer, and besides playing, I am currently a high school soccer coach.

I love to be able to help my students grow and gradually improve as they learn a foreign language. My goal is to best prepare them as world citizens.

As the great Federico Fellini said: “A different language is a different vision of life”.
